On Wednesday, Taylor Swift addressed a crowd of thousands of students, graduates, alumni, and faculty at New York University's graduation.
On Wednesday May 18th, Taylor Swift took to the stage to address the class of 2022 graduating from New York University. The ceremony took place at Yankee Stadium, and attendees included current students, alumni, graduates, faculty, board members, staff, and other figures from the NYU community.
As part of the ceremony, Taylor received an honorary doctorate for her accomplishments, welcoming her officially into the NYU family. During her introduction, not only did NYU celebrated her musical accomplishments, but they also made notice of her philanthropy and activism towards LGBTQ rights and women's rights across the country and the world.
