My Journal: A Collection of My Vulnerability

My relationship with journaling started when I was just a little girl. My mother used to journal and she showed me how. My relationship has grown and flourished with journaling throughout my life. What I would recommend to someone who is just starting out is to prepare to be vulnerable with not only your journal but with yourself. Becoming vulnerable with yourself is harder then it seems, but if you clear your mind and see what you want to share with your journal that is the first step to creating your relationship with journaling.

I never see my journal as just a notebook. It is an extension of myself, my vulnerability, and my journey. As long as you keep your journal close to your heart, it will keep you close to yourself.
