Elena Jane Goulding is an English singer and songwriter who quickly climbed the UK charts with her songs. After signing to Polydor Records in July of 2009, Ellie Goulding released her debut extended project, An Introduction to Ellie Goulding.

Despite her ever-growing success, Ellie Goulding seems to have faded off the charts. After delivering some of the most iconic songs every year, she hasn't released anything these days. Hits included "Anything Could Happen" "Lights" "Outside" with Calvin Harris, and "Love Me Like You Do" from the movie, 50 Shades of Grey.
Ellie Goulding began the year with an Insta post that reflected on how 2021 was the best year of her life to date.
“I’ve had time to sit down with great musicians and writers and made exciting new music that I hope will give people who hear it the same euphoric escape that I experienced when writing it. I have released my first book, performed to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the President and Joni Mitchell (and I can’t explain how grateful I am for that privilege),” she wrote on the post.
Ellie Goulding's Fight with Anxiety
During the post, Ellie Goulding also went on to describe her fight with anxiety. The singer and songwriter opened up about some of the darkest moments of her life, a fight that has changed her life.
“I feel like something is broken inside. This is something so so many people have gone through, you may be going through right now, or might go through in the future – and I just wanted to say, and I have to remind myself all the time, that it’s not just you, it’s not just me. Crippled by anxiety.”
“I know so many of you reading this feel this same pain and at the same time so many of you won’t have experienced it, but will most likely know someone who has struggled,” she added.
“For those that are in this right now, we’re together and we can get through this – most importantly, by talking. Talking and opening up is the hardest, and the best thing you can do.”
What's next for Ellie Goulding?
In the recent weeks, Ellie has been hinting new music in her Instagram. She has performed at a few music festivals and shows around the world. She was also a guest of Ukranian President Zelensky and the first lady, Olena Zelenska to Kyiv, where she spoke and performed at the First Ladies Summit.
