Ahead of the release of his second full-length album, the Nashville musician made a stop at The Basement in Columbus, Ohio.
A creative force that recently appeared on the scene, Stephen Day is one of the new artists we believe you should add to your playlist. In August, the Nashville musician made a stop at The Basement in Columbus, Ohio for his ongoing tour.
Since early 2021, Stephen Day wrote and recorded his second full-length album. The first track is titled "Ride" and it has already built anticipation for the body of work to come.
"I put so much of myself into this record in hopes that we could all grow a little closer together after the year and a half we’ve had of being separated. It feels like the easiest way to re-enter and rebuild a more social and communal world is by remembering how to give away a little bit of yourself to someone and trusting them with it.” – Stephen Day
This upcoming project is a reflection of a new moment for Stephen Day. He continues to establish himself as an artist that wants to transcend limits and explore his creative potential to the fullest extent. He is a creative force that wants to make music that resonates with his audience from a place of truth.
“It felt like the world around me and the world inside me was begging for me to dig deeper, in a way asking me to accept the calling of being an artist and I did my best to answer back." – Stephen Day
During the pandemic, Stephen Day released his ever project, "Original Song's and Sound, which he self-produced. He also collaborated with Allen Stone, and even surpassed 43 million streams on listening platforms.
