Grammy Award winner Leon Bridges's began in the R&B soul-inspired genre along the likes of Otis Redding and Sam Cooke, but the Atlanta native soon began to stand out due to his unique sound. Although he was born in Georgia, the singer and songwriter began his career at open mic nights in Fort Worth, Texas. With his innate talent and soulful voice, he began to capture the attention of the industry. Soon, Bridges was signed to Columbia Records, where he released his first series of singles in 2015. Bridges's debut album "Coming Home" came four months later. The album debuted at number six on the Billboard 200, and earned nominations for two Grammys in the R&B Album and Best Music Video categories. Most recently, Leon Bridges released his latest single titled "Summer Moon" featuring Kevin Kaarl.
