The question of "what if" is always a worry, it haunts you, stalks you, mocks you. There is nothing more stressful then the question of "what if ?" I’ve lately been having "what ifs" on my mind because I am approaching a milestone in my life, and it is always "what ifs" of what could go wrong. That I tend to forget about what could go right. It is important to remember that what if’s will always be there, but what’s more important is the present and to just live in it.
Clearing your mind and acknowledging your feelings is the best way to be present and find peace with your "what ifs." With all the "what ifs" on my mind and my big milestone approaching, I have found that by just clearing my head and asking myself important questions about where I am and how I'm feeling has helped me to cope with my recent "what ifs." I hope that these steps will help others to cope with their "what ifs" and being more present in their lives.
