The Bathtub of Anxiety.


One night as I was laying in bed, I was overcome with anxiety and I had not a clue why. This has been happening often. So the only thing I could think to do was take a hot bath. As I put my body into the warm water and laid myself out and dunked my head under, I let my ears fill with water and the world was silent. As I picked up my head, all the anxiety returned. Anxiety that had no purpose being there. Anxiety that was coming and going in waves constantly. Being in the bath was able to help me get out the possible reasons why I was overwhelmed with anxiety.
