Who are some artists that you look up to and draw inspiration from?
Always Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey but also The Beatles, Alicia Keys, Toni Braxton. The list can just go on and on.
Can you tell us what was the creative process behind writing your most recent song “Blind?”
“Blind” started off as a conversation and then written by Aire and The Viirgos. It’s just one of the many stories of love that I felt needed to be told. So maybe times we keep our eyes closed to what’s happening right in front of us.
Do you follow a process or ritual before a performance to get rid of nerves or performance anxiety?
Food. Haha my team always says, “if she doesn’t eat – there will not be a show.” I know its wrong but sometimes I eat right before I hit the stage. It just calms my nerves.
Is there anything you’re currently working on for this year? If so, what can fans expect?
Finally releasing my album but we have a few surprises before that happens. Hopefully, a little TV but we will see.
