Kendall Jenner Has Been Influencing Bad Bunny's Closet

It's gotta be why the singer was seen wearing Jean Paul Gautier at the F1 Grand Prix in Monaco. Or is he the one influencing one of the youngest Kardashians?

Kardashian super model Kendall Jennar has been influencing Puerto Rican artist and rapper Bad Bunny's style after the two started dating. Most recently, Bad Bunny (also known as Benito) attended the Monaco Grand Prix, where he sported a Jean Paul Gaultier top that looked like a bikini and a tee. This resembles Kendal Jenner's look from the MET Gala, where the two attended afterparties. Is Kendall influencing Bad Bunny's style and closet? Find out more.

Not everyone's been happy about Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner's relationship. If you do a deep dive on Benito's most recent posts on Instagram, you'll find a bunch of comments from fans questioning his relationship. And while these were rumors at first, recent official field trips to an NBA game, horseback riding, and the MET Gala after parties confirmed that their relationship is more than just rumors.

But while everyone's banging their head against the wall to figure out why, I've been thinking about "so now what?" Because even if this relationship is a PR stunt or the most genuine romance in the world, it looks like it's here to stay. So, what are the effects of Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny's relationship? Well, it's their closets. The most popular artist in the world is dating the highest paid model, two industries that collide and coincide with fashion. And while style can be subjective, when it comes to celebrities, there are clear influences. I mean, when Kim was dating K*anye W*est, he influenced what she wore and vice versa. And not to throw shade on Kendall's exes, but aside from Harry Styles, Bad Bunny might be the most fashionable of them all.

Here are some of the moments I've gathered so far.

MET Gala vs F1

Kendall:

After the gala in New York City, the 27-year-old star of the Kardashian family was photographed in a dazzling one-piece outfit adorned with gray sequins. The creation, designed by Nensi Dojaka as an homage to Karl Lagerfeld, showcased a short length and was accentuated by two pearl-beaded straps. The ensemble also included a black cut-out top.

Bad Bunny:

At the 2023 Monaco Grand Prix, Bad Bunny wore a Jean Paul Gaultier vintage 1995 shirt in Monte Carlo. Even at the allure of such a big event, where notable people wore high-end looks, Bad Bunny stole all the attention.

Now, you might argue that celebrities like Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny have contracts and partnerships and stylists, and they are not solely in charge of what they wear, especially to events of this caliber. But I'd say that they are not models on a runway, and their style is part of a curated image that they (and their team) want to portray to the world. Almost like in the Hunger Games, but without the death, Effie Trinket and Cinna always put so much thought on the outfits because it sent a message. While these two are not headed to an area to fight for their life anytime soon, their unique sense of style and the similarities they share are not a coincidence. But I'll leave it up to you. Do you think Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner are influencing each other's closet? Or this just another move in Kris Jenner's master plan?
