Within this piece, I used the beautiful goddess Venus — the symbol of love — in hopes of entering into her mind. My inspiration stemmed from my favorite poet, Sylvia Plath, and her use of art to help bring forth multidimensional emotions and stories. Women are endlessly diverse in beauty, power, and capability. I hope I was able to grasp even an ounce of the ethereal complexity of woman.
