New York's best music festival is here, and even if you are not able to make it to the grounds, you can still experience the incredible performances via Twitch.

Our favorite summer festival is here, bringing some of the most iconic artists in the industry to perform in New York. Governors Ball is a multi-genre festival that takes place in New York during the summer. This edition of the festival will bring huge names like Halsey, Lil Wayne, Becky G, and a lot more. In addition, the festival also sheds a light on new artists like Julia Wolf, BETWEEN FRIENDS, and Samia.

As New York makes its way to festival grounds, we have created a "Festival Ready" guide so you can have the best time this weekend.

When is this year's Governors Ball?

Governors Ball 2022 will take place between Friday, June 10th to Sunday, June 12th.

Where is the festival?

Governors Ball will be held in the parking lot of Citi Field.

How to get to the festival via subway?

If you are in the city, take the 7 train to Mets/Willets Point or the Q48 bus to Citi Field. If you are coming in from Long Island into the Penn, you can take the LIRR two stops to Mets-Willets Point. For ride shares like Uber and Lyft, you be dropped off and picked up at 126th Street between Shea Road and Roosevelt Ave.

Some of the biggest names include Lil Wayne, Kid Cudi, Halsey, J. Cole, Flume, Aly & AJ, BETWEEN FRIENDS, Coi Leray, Roddy Ricch, Jack Harlow, Glass Animals, Joji, Louis The Child, Still Woozy, Japanese Breakfast, and Becky G.

How do I get tickets to Governors Ball?

You can purchase tickets for the festival via their official website.

Do I need to bring my vax card?

Proof of vaccination will be required. Or a negative COVID-19 test obtained within 72 hours (3 days) of each day you attend the event.

If I'm not in New York, can I still watch the performances?

Yes! This year, Gov Ball and Twitch teamed up to bring a livestream of the festival for Gov Ball 2022 performers Lil Wayne, The Knocks, Louis the Child, Skepta and more!

The official stream, presented by Levi's 501s, will be available exclusively via the platform throughout the weekend, June 10-June 12. The livestream can be accessed at twitch.tv/govballnyc.
