The biggest night in music is just days away. This year, the 65th GRAMMY Awards are going to be hosted by Trevor Noah at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. Unless you were living under a rock, you know that 2022 was a big year in music, it brought us hits from artists like Harry Styles, Beyonce, and Steve Lacey. Breakout artists like Omar Apollo, Wet Leg, and Samara Joy rose to stardom. The Black Keys and Idles gave us rockin performances. The Arctic Monkey's and Kendrick Lamar gave us new albums after years of waiting. Now while I'm sure everyone has their own favorite songs and moments in music from 2022, here are our 2023 GRAMMY winner predictions!

Best New Artist

This year some of the best new artist nominees include Lotto, Wet Leg, and Samara Joy. Everyone in this category had a breakout year, but I think Omar Apollo may take the cake on this one. Omar Apollo has been on the music scene for a few years now but this past year he released his album Ivory, which included his most popular song "Evergreen (You Didn't Deserve Me)". The song took over Tik Tok and led many fans to more of Omar Apollo's music, showing them what a special artist he truly is.

Song Of The Year

Song of the Year may just be one of the most competitive categories. Each song nominated took the world by storm and most likely made the cut on any playlist you had. Personally of all the songs nominated my favorite was Steve Lacey's "Bad Habit", but when it comes down to it Taylor Swift's "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)(The Short Film) is most likely to win. The entire release of RED (Taylor's Version) had so much buzz around it and the release of a 10 minute version of what some may call one of her best written songs had the internet in a frenzy for months.

Album Of The Year

Album of the Year is the most anticipated category in the entire show. The category has no genre and ranges from ABBA's Voyage to Kendrick Lamar's Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. I think many people are expecting Harry Styles to take home the coveted award with Harry's House, which was a fantastic album, however I believe Beyonce is going to be the winner with her album RENAISSANCE.

Record Of The Year

While I don't think Harry Styles is goin to win Album of the Year, with Harry's House, I do think he's going to be "golden" with Record of the Year. You could not go anywhere this past year without hearing "As It Was" playing. Even now when I hear the song I still let it play and enjoy listening to it, it hasn't grown old like most hit songs tend to, they lose the sparkle to them, not "As It Was".
