flipturn is a is a five-piece indie-rock garage band consisting of Dillon Basse (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Madeline Jarman (bass), Triston Duncan (lead guitar), Mitch Fountain (synth), and Devon VonBalson (drums). The band began releasing music in December of 2015, with the band's first EP Heavy Colors debuting in 2017. flipturn's sound has continued to mature and blossom with the release of two other EP's and most recently the band's first album Shadowglow. The steady release of music has attracted more than 50 million streams on Spotify alone, and immeasurable amounts of praise.
The anticipation for a full-length flipturn album was finally quelled on August 19, 2022 with Shadowglow. The 14-track album is a mastery in composition and lyricism, continued hallmarks of flipturn as a band. The trance inducing voice of front man Dillon Basse gives the band a unique psychedelic feel to the band's cinematic tracks. Shadowglow is one of those albums that does not have a single skip, you'll thank us later for this addition to your playlists.

Each track is notably amped up for the live audience giving a whole new life to the band's beloved songs. flipturn's recorded music is perfect for the restless introspective night, or the endless sun-streaked summer days; but flipturn live is for the chaotic house parties, or those late nights when you lose track of time with your friends. The energy and intensity that flipturn brings on their live shows is magnetic and when added to the band's abundant talent, it's obvious why flipturn has continued to gain traction.
