She grew up in Helsinki and landed her first record deal at the age of 12. During most of her adolescence, Erika moved between major cities like London, Berlin, and Los Angeles. Her unique upbringing shaped her as a musician, influencing her sound with notes of art-pop, techno, jazz, among other genres of experimental music.
