In an interview with Vogue, Adele discussed 30. She said this album is dedicated to her son, and she used the songs to cope with and explore the divorce with her husband. “Neither of us did anything wrong. Neither of us hurt each other or anything like that. It was just: I want my son to see me really love, and be loved. It’s really important to me.” Once people listen to “Easy on Me,” they’ll be moved by the powerful emotion she puts into her music, and connect to the message about her dealing from her divorce.

Adele dedicated her previous albums to her age at the time of writing, and the songs on each album were inspired by that period of her life. It is interesting to see the shift in her career from when she started singing until now, because her fans have been able to grow and change as she has grown and changed as a woman, and as an artist.
