The Ohio-based band's latest release "Dressed Up" is a testament to their evolving range and talent that, in our opinion, continues to get it right every time.
When I (Henry) wrote the song, I was listening to A LOT of The Velvet Underground. Also was really into power pop bands like Big Star and some of The Replacements mid-late 80s stuff. The main riff had been around for over a year, and it formed into one of our favorite songs to play live, so it felt natural to release it as a single.
MEGA. SLAY.
We had a bit of a hard time deciding what genre to label ourselves. We identify with the phrase “country gone rock” at the moment. We also liken ourselves to Roots Rock bands like The Bryds and The Band.
We’ve been focusing a lot of time on recording and plan to release one more double single before our debut EP, which will include two tracks called “Polly” and “Union Gate”. The EP will be available on cassette and might just include a bonus, previously unreleased track. To stay up to date check out our social media and streaming accounts.
